OOC: This gif made me laugh uncontrollably.

“I don’t want to have to stop you, Alistair! If you’d just listen to reason and attempt to work things out here, we wouldn’t be in this sort of position at the moment,” she seethed with a small glare toward the Asian. That dark energy was like a smoky aura surrounding her hands and siphoning around her wrists and forearms. The air around them turned cold.
Clenching her fists as they rested at her sides, the British teen kept her eyes on the one she called an ally. “I taught myself to do this. Make your choice, then. Are you going to listen to me… or are you going to attack once again? Your call.”
“I choose freedom!” Alistair called out, charging at her once more. Stopping a foot away from the small Brit, Alistair threw his right arm forward in a quick jab towards her right arm. He had enough energy charged up in his fist to at least paralyze her arm if he was able to make contact. “The Professor told me that if I stayed I’d have to be kept under watch.” he called out as he threw a second punch at her chest, narrowly avoiding her counter attack when it came.
“There is no way in hell that old man is going to give me any chances Ramona. I saw it in his eyes. I’m done here.” he said firmly as he stared into her eyes while he kept his movements up with hers.
In all honesty, she had not been expecting him to launch an attack at her no matter what the situation brought. For barely a second, the girl felt hurt and slightly betrayed—being attacked by an ally you nearly called a friend and the person who saved your life. But she did not allow that to change the fact that she needed to protect herself.
Her body ducked itself down, barely passing under his hand as he thrust it forward, her own hands being imbued by inky blackness as her powers began to activate at her shock to come to her defense. Then, the girl launched herself back up, swinging her hand up in an arch while a solid form of shadow formed to deliver a punch as a shattering uppercut.
Missing the contact of his original strike, Alistair kept his eyes trained on the girl as she quickly ducked below him. She was a lot faster then the only other mutant he had fought, Jono, and she was definitely much more of a danger to him then the guards back at the compound.
Noticing the black energy that began to surround her fist, he wondered just what kind of damage that could do to him. He felt himself slightly tempt to let her hit connect so that he could memorize what kind of attack pattern she had. Deciding against it at the last moment, he pulled his head back, his body following as he fell back a few steps to avoid her uppercut. “I’ve never seen you do that before.” he called out, clenching his fists as he prepared for the next strike. “You won’t be able to stop me Ramona, one way or another I’m leaving!”

“No,” she said resolutely, unflinching in her spot in front of the much taller mutant who seemed to quickly be growing irritable. She didn’t care. “You’re going to have to knock me out or worse before you even think of getting past that damned gate, you git!”
Ramona was becoming a bit flustered herself as he continued to just push her away and ignore her questions and worries. It was so idiotic of him to just get up and go without a bit of compromise! Why was he so daft and unable to see that there could be chance for him to stay here where it was safe and off of the streets…?
“Come on, then. What’s it going to be?”
Holding his fist up to his palm, Alistair cracked his knuckles once to give her a warning. “Move now Ramona. I’m really not going to ask again.” he warned, but after she gave her final answer, Alistair found himself without any other choice. “Fine Ramona. Just remember you asked for this.” he said, taking off his knapsack. Tossing it aside as he held up his fists, he locked his eyes onto her.
“I hope you aren’t still injured from the mission!” he screamed, charging at her. Stopping short right in front of her, he thrust his left palm forward towards her chest before discharging a thin wave of energy to knock her back at most. He honestly did want to hurt her he realized as he felt his body holding itself back with each strike he put against her.
OOC: While everyone at the institute is angst.
Alistair is dancing through the streets.
